Business Psychology was not the career Dr. Taylor thought she would have.  Her career started while an undergraduate in biology and chemistry building a successful business acquiring and turning around failing businesses with other family members. Despite their success, competing family priorities, mixed motivations, and disparate viewpoints destroyed the business. Having survived this difficult period Allie pursued her master’s in marriage and family therapy, held executive roles in both non-profit and for-profit companies, and found that she consistently ran into critical leadership challenges at points of significant transition (scale, sale, & succession). Realizing the need to better understand the phenomenon, Allie pursued her PhD in Business Psychology with her dissertation research focused on understanding the psychology of owners and their management teams at points of significant transition.  Her passion is helping owners create clarity, confidence, and control to succeed where others fail.   Allie serves businesses in both North America and Europe ranging in size from $15M - $1B in annual revenue.
